Ratings and reviews

It's ok. There appears to be a bug that does not allow you to transfer funds to another AFCU account. It just gives an error and tells you to call customer service. I have reported it to them and they didn't have anything to tell me other than sorry. I have cleared the cache and the data in the app, even uninstalled and reinstalled with no improvement. Will give more stars when fixed. .... update as of 8-7-2025. Still unable to transfer money to another AFCU account. Still waiting for a fix.

The app is extremely easy to use. I always have the most recent transactions, as soon as they clear. I LOVE Card Guard. I always get a notification when auto payments, and transfers go through. I have another account back home that's at a credit union. I've been a member there since 1995 and don't think it is as advanced as America First seems to be. Addition: 6/18/25 I noticed a huge difference in how AFCU & my home Bank shows transactions and shows the balance. JMCU use to show this way.

Great app. With nice features and functionality. I like how I can see all of my America first acct info. Then, also my other bank. It doesn't show all my accounts at the other bank. But it's still very nice for a quick look at the balance in my other checking account. Has a nice feature for paying my afcu car payment internally. There really is a lot going on in this app. I have never used bill payment service for external accounts like lights and internet. So I cannot speak for/ against it.
