Updated from 5 to 3 stars. The app currently doesn't require users to validate the car's interior condition with photos at checkin the same way it does for the exterior; it only allows reporting preexisting major dirt/damage. This creates a risky loophole where an owner can claim a cleaning fee using only "after" photos, leaving the renter without a mandatory "before" photo to prove the car's baseline condition. Mandating interior checkin photos would make the dispute process fairer for everyone

Used the service only once so far but it has been an overwhelmingly positive experience. For in city rental a much easier option to traditional rent a car services.

When it works, it works great. However, if THEY make a mistake, you’re the one who ends up paying for it. In my case, the owner of a car decided not to rent it to me, and Amovens helped me switch to another vehicle. At no point did they tell me that I would be charged for both cars. For three months I tried to get a clear answer from them. Several times they told me I didn’t owe anything and that the issue would be resolved. Instead, after all that time, they sent a law firm to charge me again.
