Amovens offers good prices and variety, but my 16-day rental was disappointing. A fragile luggage cover in the Seat Leon broke with normal use; I suspect it was pre-damaged. Despite this and other existing damage, Amovens charged 300€ full price of a new part, and kept my 200€ deposit, without proof of repair and without letting me update my review on their platform. Poor customer service and overpriced cost of minor damage for the whole price of a new part.

Amovens is a disaster. 👎 After 6+ months, I can say most cars are priced like traditional car rentals (Sixt/Europcar), and cheaper ones are poorly maintained. Plus, the high refueling charge is a trap. Worst: The expensive insurance option is useless. When an owner filed a suspicious claim weeks after my rental period, support offered zero help, forcing a lengthy, incorrect insurance claim process and disabling my account. Go elsewhere! Car-sharing isn't worth this mess.

Lack of transperency with the booking. We live in a big city, with no parking. At the return of the car (only then) it said that it is street parking, we could find parking on time, as it took us 30 minutes to find parking, we were late 17 minutes due to this with the return, and they fined us with extra 8 euros, which is 30% of the booking fee. The owner of the car was non responsive, and Amovens refused to cancel this unfair fine. In bottom line, normal car rental would cost us the same.
