I have a few bluetooth devices that support higher quality codecs but don't use them by default for some reason. This app is great for forcing them to use the best available codec. The latest update fixes the app not working after Play Services was updated which is great. But is it possible to separate the background notification and the codec / battery level notification into their own channels? It's nice to have a battery indicator on your lockscreen without opening Quick Settings.

It's a wonderful app. I have two pairs of headphones with ldac and game mode. One with noise cancelling I primarily use. That one will only low latency mode in sbc. This app makes it wonderfully simple to swap between SBC and LDAC as needed for music vs low latency for video/games. Also let's me set LDAC how I want it including bitrate without needing root or the dev options.

When listening to a Bluetooth speaker, headphones or ear buds, the one thing to know is, you have to have the right codec to achieve the best audio sound. Not all Bluetooth audio devices, whether it's sending the signal or receiving it, coincide with each other. Which means, the sound you hear may not be what you expected.
