Ratings and reviews

This app is excellent. Still, I'm taking away one star for the dated aesthetic and the fact the searches done with gesture keyboards require additional input to detect the swiped phrase. The former I can get over; the latter is the greater user burden. 2023-11-17 More importantly, syncing/connecting an email to their cloud system hasn't worked yet.

Has a good range of vocabulary. Unfortunately, you cannot transfer the paid-for version to a new phone (even though there appears to be a facility for this). The free version has restricted access and ads. App support exists, but it just appears to be an AI bot giving enthusiastic replies to support requests, but no action. It's pretty frustrating.

Very handy. I speak pretty good French already but I still forget words and having an app that works offline is very practical. Update 2025. I paid for the premium version and after 2 days, I still don't have access to it. I'd advise anyone to just stick with the free version.
