This mobile app works with self-hosted:

• Jira Software (Data Center) instances running Jira 8.3 and later

• Jira Service Management (Data Center) instances running versions 4.15 and later.

Do I need the Data Center or Cloud app?

To check if this is the right app for your site, open Jira in your browser and go to Help ( ? ) > About Jira. If your Jira version number is 8.3 or later you can use this app! If your version number starts with 1000, then you'll need the Jira Cloud app instead.

You can't pull up a ticket by ticket number, it's borderline unusable. A colleague will send you a ticket number and you will spend a long time scrolling through menus to find it. Why? Also, the "give feedback" option is broken and doesn't work at all. It just keeps saying sending feedback failed. The only reason why I tried the app was because the mobile website is completely broken and you can't update tickets. Yet, Atlassian keeps upping the cost of their product.

This app loses session information many times in the day. All push notifications are useless as it doesn't show details and doesn't open when user session is not active in the app. Forcing us to login many times a day to retain session to keep getting details in the push notification. Apart from this, its very much useful.

Only useful for watching the current sprint. My org has given me access to multiple boards, but i only work in one of them. But i cannot filter by board to see issues of next sprint. There are too few filters to search for anything or plan ahead. I can only use it to view/edit issues of current sprint. Edit: changed from 2 to 1 because it won't keep me logged in now and is overall unusable
