Updated Review (dropping stars). Dropping review from 4 to 2 stars. They've introduced some additional security settings (not like the phone doesn't already have password protections) that I can't turn off... grrr I'm also now getting pop-ups for unlocking the lock when the phone connects, but doesn't the red or green circle already do that? Why am I using a pop-up for something that was already working? Why are we trying to fix things that aren't broken? The app is going the wrong direction.

Edit, 2026, s24 ultra. It just doesn't work at all sometimes. Pushing on red equals no response. It needs an update. Pixel 4xl It's an ok app. It connects, but is slow to connect when I need it to. The GPS feature doesn't work. What they need is a permanent notification (selectable in settings) that will allow it to stay connected and that we can drag down and unlock or lock.

June '26 update: I've been using the app for years. It's been getting better. I've had issues with the speed of it connecting/unlocking in the past, but it has been noticeably better lately with no changes on my end. It also now shows the battery levels in the locks, which is a super nice addition. Devs: a manual option for switching between wifi and BT would still be nice to have.
