I love Avanti West Coast. It is my favourite rail service. However the app tells me my email is not valid so I can't log in the app, rendering it useless. I can't even reset my password because my email is apparently not valid. It does not change my outlook on Avanti, as I still love them. However I shall just stick to paper tickets for the foreseeable future.

Absolutely appalling mobile app! Once you select your tickets there's no easy and intuitive way to proceed to checkout. There're various options to change your selection (standard premium/first class) but no easy way to procede with your selection. If you hit back button only the selected stations remain but you have to choose again the days and times. You really need a quality UI expert not just devs!

I really wish this app was more convenient. I love booking through Avanti, because of the zero booking fee, but for several months I've been unable to book anything. I can't access tickets I've bought through the desktop website, but the app doesn't book tickets on any device. It's very annoying. It's stopped working completely now. I can open the app, but cannot login, view trains, or view my tickets.
