Updating the app removed my ability for "transparency" on E8. Can't seem to get any help other than "reset it" and "follow this re-pairing process" which obviously is no help at all since the app caused the issue. If I could rate this negative I would, seriously one of the worst apps I've used in awhile. Hasn't really worked right from day one on the 4 different phones that I've tried. The earbuds themselves worked great until the update. But the app sucks.

Why change what works?? I have the Beoplay EX earbuds and enjoy them; their controls are pretty intuitive. I recently bought the Beoplay Portal for Xbox playing and for workout music listening. I was so excited to have an all-in-one headset! But for some reason, B&O decided NOT to allow the Portal headset to switch between music tracks while in Bluetooth mode!! I can't even believe how stupid that is! The EX allows this by double tapping the Left or Right bud, but the Portal does nothing! C'mon!

The recent redesign is difficult to use, and always not that reliable with the H9i. The labelled buttons have been replaced with odd symbols that have no explanation. One of the new buttons is a person with a dotted line around them. When I press it the noise cancelling turns off, and so does the music. If I try to play music it immediately stops. What is the point of this function? How do I just turn off NC and proximity detection? This is with the H9i
