The BMO app is just fine. I find the fonts small and the UI bit unintuitive compared to other banking apps. Thanks BMO for adding useful features like cheque deposit and Biometric authentication. One thing I just don't understand is why I need to select different "filters" to see the transactions for each month. I would like to be able to scroll through all transactions like other banking apps I use. A running balance would also be helpful.

I opened an account with free service (no monthly service fee) for 2 years. Later that month they charged me monthly service fee. To solve this issue I got to call the bank, spend money on this. Plus, if I haven't noticed it and wouldn't cover this negative overdraft - they would have charged me for it. As a result, after calls, they returned the money. But didn't compensate the interest rate that I missed due to not having this peice of my money by their mistake for some time

The new app is not user friendly. The way it was before the big update was way easier to use. Can't find anything easily. Help function gives options that don't exist. UPDATE May 1st, 2024: Some improvements have been made, but it's still worse. Suddenly my debit card is somehow registered as a credit card and says I can't send money or pay bills. Perfect to find out on the first of the month. :(
