FAST ONLINE ACCOUNT OPENING
1 government ID and 5 minutes are all you need to open a BPI savings account. Open an account with your Passport, Driver's License, Postal ID, SSS ID, PRC ID, or UMID. No need to go to the branch. Once the account is opened, you can immediately access BPI online banking services!

Suddenly the app asked me to validate my phone. I guess they did an auto update without telling users. after it verified my phone I tried to make a transaction but my mobile key was not working. It looks like the mobile key setting was turned off. BPI you need to let users know what you are doing. It's concerning when suddenly your app doesn't work.

Can't open a new account even with a new device tried several times. I've tried to visit the branch a few times but still can't resolve the issue. Their customer hotline is busy and almost always busy. The online promo of zero maintaining balance is no longer available yet still advertised as it is. Seamless account creation is not accessible even multiple times of uninstall, reinstall, and with a new device (stocked up in a manual setup). Please make improvements on those things. Thank you.

The "Transfer" tab has no direct access to the function to generate a QR code for my account, which I'd send to someone else in order to receive inward transfer. Seems like it's obvious that it is where it should be, but it can only scan a QR code or initiate outward transfers. There's no link for it when viewing the account or settings. It is buried so far in More > General Settings > (scroll down to) QR generator. Seems like this is the wrong place, as it's not a Setting but a feature function
