What beginner runners need This is excellent for beginner runners or runners who have been off the wagon for awhile. Prompts work perfect with my Google play music. If the developers could get it to count down the last 10 seconds or so for a sprint at the end of the last running segment I think that would be a great addition.
I love the app except for two things, and maybe it's just me that can't figure it out. 1. I don't get the option to link my run to myfitnesspal. Just won't come up for me - not a really big deal in the long run but a bit disappointing. And 2. I can't seem to manually log my distance into the app, because I'll be using a treadmill for this training for the most part, which really defeats the purpose of it for me.
C25k changed my life This app is so amazing! Easy to use. No muss, no fuss. I've had no issues with bugs or lagging. It's just what I needed to start a running lifestyle.
Nice way to learn to run This app makes it easy to learn to run. The progression is doable even if you aren't in good shape. One thing that would be nice would be the ability to edit the run and walk periods. There were some days where I repeated a workout. It would be nice to be able to track how many times I did that. I have also seen other run/walk progressions in other beginning running programs that I would have liked to try.
Great for beginner runners This app is a great way to stay motivated for beginners. A short not too demanding program, though I had my doubts when I saw the 20 min runs for the first time, lol. Again great way to start running, at least until u move on to other more elaborate apps to improve your times. Free recommended apps worth graduating to for beginners like me (cos most are paid apps) are My Asics and Nike+ Running. You can use either for slightly more tailor-made programs and it doesn't cost a buck. Go run!
Helpful As someone who is terrible with motivating myself to run, I find the structure of the program really helpful, it is a very approachable way to start running. The app itself is easy to use as well.
