The app crashes and resets at random while running, rendering it utterly useless and I'll delete it for an alternative now. It's such a shame. This app has helped me to run 3 to 5 times a week and has been instrumental in weight loss of 30+ pounds. I had previously given it 5 stars. But useless is useless...
I am willing to update this to 5 stars, but I'm only on week 2. I tried to do couch to 5k a number of years ago, but didn't have a fit watch or anything and it was hard to keep time while trying to run. I love that this app takes away the guess work. I'm curious to see what it does when it stops measuring time and does distance instead.
I'm starting my road back to taking care of my health by getting back into running. Already by the time I've written this review I've reached the 3rd day of Week 1 and I'm loving this app. It's clean and simple. Love that it lets me play my music alongside the voice notifications. Music player is a bit limited but I can forgive that for now.
This app us great for anynody hoping to run their first 5k, except in one respect: once you get to the longer intervals, it assumes you are running a 10-minute mile. That's not realistic for a beginner or mature runner, or even just if you have a short stride. So you can choose to run the time but not make the prescribed distance, or vice versa. Still a good app for improving your stamina though.
Great program to pace you up to a 5k. I would give this 4-5 stars if it was at all stable. It often shut off during a run. Luckily, during later runs, I could just set a timer, but it sort of made the app obsolete. I did finish it, though. I feel accomplished. Just wish it was more stable.
Good approach to gradually get in shape w/o overdoing it. Voice is clear. One flaw is that the written training instructions don't line up with the voiced instructions and the timings. I think tieing this app into a calendar app would enhance it. Would be great to get reminders
