Ratings and reviews

As much as I like Ionity and the fast charging, I still can't activate the chargers with this app. it worked for a few months and then it quit on November 10, 2022. I've been reporting the issue but as of February 2023, there is still no fix. I'm paying the monthly service, but in order to charge, I have to call my wife who activates the chargers remotely from her iPhone. It's outrageous.

I was using the Ionity app previously until it informed me I had to upgrade to a newer version. The Google Play store link on the app took me to the same version I was already using. Launching the app from the store just gave me the same "need to upgrade" message. I then uninstalled the app, re-installed it again, but now the app does not accept any email address to continue using it, saying "there was an error, try again later", which I have done several times later without success.

I am based in Germany. The app worked well immediately with Google Pay and DKB Bank. However, with the credit card Traderepublic Bank, authentication failed with an unspecified error 4-5 times. Each time 40€ were reserved, I'll need to check how to get them refunded because I could not start charging until I switched to the credit card DKB Bank.
