This isn't Rummy 500, but the game described in Hoyle books as basic rummy. I enjoy playing this game in Block Rummy mode to speed up the game, as every hand has a score. All the Coppercod games have good ad options, none with annoying audio, which is important as I like to listen to music as I play. The color schemes are also a plus, but I would like ace high or low and counting 11 as a variation.

This game has very clear instructions for the newbie or those that need a refresher. It's pretty easy to pick up as you play along & has various options to change you & the other players skill levels for more/less of a challenge, plus create the gaming atmosphere you're most comfortable playing in, especially if you've played before. I enjoy the simplicity of not a lot of bells & whistles, let's just play cards already! I'm really enjoying playing rummy again, I can't put the game down!

Fun but I know the rules of classic rummy very well(bicycle even has the rule book) and along with that website there are many others that tell you the rules, but this game is missing a very important one. Which is that as long as you can use it for points immediately you can pull the lowest card and up from the discard pile. Also you are supposed to be able to call rummy but you can't do that in this game.

Hi, thanks for the review! I haven't included the Rummy 500 rule variants in this game, there are a lot house rules to this game. In truth, you are the first to ask for pulling the lowest card from the discards rule, but I'll keep it in mind. You don't need to call "rummy", but if you go out in one turn you have achieved rummy
