About this app

Starting with Android 13, it's possible to control multiple brightness levels of the flashlight.
To be able to use this new feature I've developed this app.

Accessibility Service Disclosure:
FlashDim lets you toggle the flashlight by pressing both volume buttons. This feature is opt-in and can be activated from the settings.
For this feature to work FlashDim leverages the accessibility API to read key events and react to the click of the volume buttons. I do not collect any kind of data other than the volume button key events. To verify that, you can access this app's source code on GitHub.

suddenly... it glitches out every time when I open it. this has been going on for 2 weeks with no updates. It says there's an exemption and I need to click a button that says "Roger". It takes 3 clicks every time. what was once an easy button for the flashlight is now worthless for my use case. hoping for updates and it will change my review back to five stars.

excellent! I love the two volume buttons shortcut for the flashlight. it's been invaluable in my day-to-day workflow. I just picked up a pixel 11 pro and I'm having trouble getting the two volume button sure cut to work. I'm assuming it's only because of the brand new phone that came out literally 2 days ago. I know the developer will update this soon if needed. This is a very well maintained app from a seasoned considerate developer.

My true, unbiased opinion. It's a flashlight. It works well! Honestly though, it's highly intuitive as well as nicely integrated into the native flashlight system application. You can also adapt the settings to tie into quick settings and other customizations. Overall I'm quite happy about it. I would consider purchasing from this creator in the future.
