Works great with Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with USB. I tried the free version first. It probably would have done the job for me, but am glad to provide a little support for the developer via the paid app. (Plus the flip and zoom features are nice to have.)
Works well, great performance even on a device as old as a nexus 5. USB mode is definitely worth setting up as it seems to handle the frame rate better and perhaps the image quality as well. WiFi mode is simple to set up though and does work well, certainly well enough for any casual uses. (looking to stream or record to YouTube, Twitch, etc, you'll want to use USB for a smoother frame rate though). Can't complain about anything, the app is cheaper than even the lowest quality webcams, and allows you to use the power of your phone camera, which should compare to some of the best webcams on the market if you've got anything even remotely recent.
Can't set exposure Works well. On wireless I experienced about a half-second lag, which is fine. The biggest drawback is no ability to set exposure. You can set brightness but that's not usable.
I can get the video to show up in VLC, but not OBS on Ubuntu 16.04. Very disappointed this doesn't work with OBS since the description says it does.
Worked for a day I set this up with Skype and it worked for all of one use. Now when I try to use it, it acts like it will load my Webcam on skype and the stops and turns the camera off
Sometimes the mic works I have had trouble with the mic
