Swiggy Dineout's customer support experience is extremely frustrating. When a payment or booking issue occurs, the app simply redirects users to a huge list of 40+ FAQs instead of providing direct support. Even the support executive only asked me to "wait for a few minutes" but couldn't specify whether that meant 1 minute, 5 minutes, or 15 minutes. There is no clear guidance, no proper ETA and no transparency. In a payment related situation, users need immediate assistance not endless FAQs.

The restaurant cancelled the paid pre booking and dineout failed to notify. restaurant claims there is not even a slot at booked time. And restaurant cooly claims its third party problem. Dineout's liability stops at refunding your booking amount and I'm left with figuring out how to entertain my large party of guests.

have bad experience for booking. despite booking by paying some amount, the restaurant confirmed there was no booking on their end. after reporting concern to support, I was told that the restaurant cancelled it. however when I enquired the same with restaurant, they showed me list of cancelled, where my name was not there. not sure it was technical glitch but better to improve.
