Dotori WiFi Scanner is a local Wi-Fi device discovery tool for field engineers and network administrators.
It detects the current Wi-Fi address range, scans nearby devices, and presents each IP address with a device category and the evidence behind that result. Results are processed on the device. CSV text is copied to the clipboard only when the user explicitly requests it.
No router admin sign-in is needed. As long as your phone is on the same Wi-Fi, standard local network responses are enough to list the main devices currently connected, so you can survey a site without the admin page address or account.
Devices that serve a web interface can be opened straight from the results. A button appears for each open web port (80, 443, 8080, 8000) and hands that address to the default browser on your phone. It is not limited to routers: CCTV, NAS, printers, and embedded equipment work the same way as long as they expose a web page. Sign-in is handled by the device's own page, so the app never asks for or stores those credentials.
Key features:
- Automatic detection of the current Wi-Fi subnet and gateway
- Device list without router admin credentials
- Fast, Balanced, and Accurate scan modes
- Identification of access points, computers, mobile devices, TV/media devices, NAS systems, printers, CCTV devices, and PLC candidates
- Combined evidence from TCP responses, mDNS, SSDP, WSD, and NetBIOS
- Manufacturer OUI, hostname, open-port, and service clues
- Basic three-column CSV copied to the clipboard
- One tap to a device web interface in your default browser, with a separate button for each open web port
- Safe handoff to the separate Dotori SSH Terminal app for SSH sessions
- Korean and English UI, Light/Dark themes, and font-size controls
A device missing from the results is not proof that it is absent. Client isolation, VLANs, firewalls, and device configuration can affect discovery.
For industrial devices such as PLC candidates, detailed identification runs only after the user explicitly approves a read-only query for that device. Use Dotori WIFI Scout only on networks and equipment you own or are authorized to manage.
This version uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK for a persistent banner at the top of app pages. The ad is released while a dialog or settings sheet is visible, and the top banner remains in place while the software keyboard is open. It has no separate analytics SDK or developer backend, and local scan results are not sent to the developer or the ads SDK.
