About this app

With FAIRTIQ you don’t have to buy a ticket in advance, indicate your destination or struggle to find the right zone. You will always be charged the best available price, once you have completed your journey. It doesn't matter how often you switch directions, or even if you change between trains, buses and trams. With FAIRTIQ there are no hassles, no complications, just smooth and easy travel at fair prices!


How it works

Shortly before boarding a vehicle, such as train, bus, tram or boat, simply swipe the "Start" button in the FAIRTIQ app. Your final destination does not need to be entered.
If a conductor requests ticket validation, click the "Show ticket" button and the QR code will automatically be displayed in the app.
Once you have arrived at your destination, swipe the "Stop" button in FAIRTIQ. The optimised cost for your trip is then displayed in the app.

Companion mode: With this new function, not only do you get a valid ticket easily and conveniently, but also your fellow companions.

Amazing idea & app to use. Primarily for Weimar, Erfurt & surrounding Thuringia region. Very easy to follow, in terms of set-up, and very fair - calculates price from exact location to location: just remember to slide right & then left, respectively!

FAIRTIQ charged me 10.20€ for a trip that should have cost 1€. The charge appeared one day after later, after I already threw my tickets away. Support refused to help without separate tickets, even though the app has my trip and payment data. It is basically a SCAM. Welcome in Slovakia!

I couldn't be more wrong with this app. I wrote a bad review about their customer support and the problem was that their emails arrived to the spam folder. My bad. My sincere apologies to Fairtiq and their great service and customer support. When I said: __They advertise "fair" tickets and this is really far away from reality. [...].__ I was totally wrong! They are truly amazing and the customer support is incredibly responsive and fast.
