When it works it's great for check-in and viewing your boarding pass. But they really need to improve the reliability, you shouldn't need to manually refresh every time you open it to view upcoming bookings. It feels like you're navigating a webpage rather than an app intended to be used on a phone at times. Their closest yellow competitor has a much better app. Luckily the Frontier website is good and more reliable, especially for booking.

Not the most intuitive experience. When you pull up your boarding pass, it always defaults to the first flight on your itinerary which makes it confusing when you scan to board, and are looking for your seat number. I noticed a few people tried to scan their previous boarding pass, and people in the wrong seats. Slows down the boarding process in person when people have to scroll or move seats.

Economical flying. Fortunately, I've been spared the experience of canceled flights, and I've had limited customer service issues. Like most airlines, delays seem more common. Overall, they fly to most of the destinations I like to travel, so I usually book Frontier. I wish that their credit card had benefits like free checked baggage, offered by other airlines. The biggest negative is their customer service, which is almost non-existent, but thankfully, I've only experienced this a few times.
