This app works in the background unnecessarily and uses more than 50% of my battery every day! I run this app only once a week; why does it waste my battery?

Why do I need to enter my name and a picture in order to use the app? There used to be a VPN client that I could use since I only use the VPN feature and now I'm forced to use this all-in-one application.. After putting in place holder information and a BS picture I'm able to use the VPN module without issue but I wish the dedicated app was still available.

Unable to connect on android 11 (Micromax In 2b). Very poor. It's taking minutes of time. Earlier it was in 2 to 3 seconds. Please help as usage is an obligation!
