About this app

Kordant Companion connects company-owned Android devices to the Kordant device management platform.

The app is intended for managed business devices enrolled by an administrator. It supports device enrolment, policy status, app health reporting, managed configuration, diagnostics, custom app update handling, wallpaper policy support, and attended remote support approval where enabled by the organization.

Kordant Companion is not a consumer app. It should only be installed on devices managed by a Kordant administrator through Android Enterprise, Managed Google Play, or an approved device-owner setup route.

Attended remote support is optional and starts only after a person at the device approves each session. When control is requested, Kordant uses Android AccessibilityService solely to perform operator-requested taps, swipes and focused text input; it does not use Accessibility to read screen contents or keystrokes. Screen sharing uses Android MediaProjection under a separate system approval. The session can be declined or stopped on-device and is not recorded by Kordant.
