Connect to the hunt with the Alpha® LTE dog tracker, using cellular technology (subscription required). Use your smartphone to track your dog’s movements with the Alpha® app. Connect your Alpha LTE tracking system to a compatible Garmin VHF dog tracking system (sold separately) to leverage either LTE or VHF tracking signals. Use the Alpha app to navigate and mark waypoints with integrated mapping.

I've had the device and software about three months. My Android Alpha app has consistent problems in communication via Bluetooth. The device settings cannot be transmitted to the device. The Bluetooth pairing is inconsistent. The link to "online support" has never worked. The app works fine on my wife's iPhone. The support personnel described how it worked on their iPhone but had no experience with Android. Very poor experience.

Good but could be better. Works as needed, no issues with maps. Tracking lines are to wide, need to be much thinner. The dog distances are shown in feet, should be shown in yards to be standard with the Alpha handhelds. At least an option to change to yards.

Used to work really well with my phone, then 1 day it quit working so I upgraded to the alpha 300 from the alpha 200i hoping the 300 would fix my problems,nope still only works about a quarter of the time. When it does work it freezes and takes ages to sync up. I'm on Android and would love if this could be fixed.
