Excellent App. The only one I have found with adjustable buffer and latency low enough to actually be useful. Only small downside is the UI, its not like it isn't working but it could look better, on both sides (only tried Win server). Everything is there its just not the most intuitive design. Still 5 stars because I'd rather have weird-ish UI than a half working App.
The app streams audio from your desktop to your android device! Well, I love it because it is a great app. A lag is their and I guess hence not appropriate to watch something with sound but if it's about music then surely you can listen endlessly! You need to restart the desktop app once you installed it, if you are not able to connect!
Pretty good. It does what it says on the tin. Can be choppy, but overall works well and there are settings that reduce latency. My headphone jack on my PC quit working and this is a pretty decent fix. It does connect directly to your PCs wireless rather than through the router, so that's nice. Could do with a password protection option, as it stands it seems anyone with the app can listen in as long as the PC server is running and they're close enough for a signal.
Love it! Use it for better Spotify experience This is a great app. I primarily use it to get my computer's better Spotify experience on my phone- play Spotify on your browser with ad block for no ads and complete control of your music without the extra limitations the put on phones, like limited skips and no exact song selection. Also use this to listen to all I have on my PC without transferring it.
One major feature is missing: it won't pause during phone calls or if you unplug a headset. I want to use this at work so I can hear both my phone and PC notifications, and still stream music on my phone or PC. But if I unplug my phone while a sound is playing--or if I go to a meeting and my phone plays sound from my PC in the middle of the meeting--it's really embarrassing. I always unplug my headset when carrying my phone away from the desk. This feature would be critical for me to consider buying the paid version.
Frustrating Too many dropouts. I can stream Pandora and others via WiFi with zero dropouts on far less signal quality. Of course I understand this does not buffer due to design..... still, other non buffering apps do far better.
