Makes a difference
Great way to learn mindfulness I am recovering from an episode of depression, and tried this as a practical way to learn mindfulness. I have been using now for 27 days and find the app very simple and easy to use. The timeline works well. The progress page doesn't seem to update correctly, but doesn't affect use of the app. I like being able to download the sessions at home over WiFi for use later.
Bad If you genuinely believe that giving something free hurts, don't do it. All 10 sessions are same. Try out Insight meditation app which is free and has a better options with many options. I think apps related with meditation should not be this expensive if charged.
I'm sad. I love the program, but I'm deducting 3 stars for 3 big problems. (1) While dishonest people can pirate the whole program and save it where they want, honest paying patrons can't choose where to save the audio files (no SD card) because of "security." (2) It's too expensive. A subscription-based model feels greedy and unfair. I'd gladly pay $100 for a lifetime subscription, but $15/mo is ham-fisted. Again, pirates win. (3) There's no way to cancel or change your account without emailing them. It's awkward.
Great guided practice But some inconvenient bugs like morning reminders inconsistently working and through the day reminders only working sometimes. Previous problem saving level 23 progress only resolved by doing through computer web app.
Great! This is a wonderful app. I used it in the past to help with depression/anxiety and it worked wonders. Sure enough the first session has me less stressed. I wish I could afford the subscription and really see what else it has to over. Low income life sucks man.
