The meditations are excellent and I can usually find one that helps in any particular moment. Unfortunately, the download feature is incredibly glitchy. I often work in areas with no cell service and it's maddening to turn to this app to cope with anxiety only to find that my downloads all have an error message or are trying to buffer unendingly.

This app got me through nursing school and some of the most challenging periods of my life. Headspace was the first app to help me meditate more consistently. I've tried several other apps for and just kept coming back to Headspace. It is an excellent intro to mindfulness & awareness and also has series for more practiced meditators. I also appreciate the variety of topics, the sleep section, and their growing list of different people guiding the meditations.

I've used this app for years. I used to enjoy most of the content and get a lot of use out of it (esp the sleep section), but the UI just keeps getting worse, making it harder to find things w/out digging multiple pages deep, which can get stressful. Also, recently there's a lot of focus on the instructors themselves and work productivity, giving a very corporate, toxic-positivity vibe. The old stuff is still good, but I get less and less interested in any of the new.

What's new

A steady meditation practice can calm the mind. But sometimes a bug appears in the app and it distracts us. We removed that bug from this latest version, and we already feel more at ease.
