About this app

GHA’s Shop Floor Data Collection app, takes Epicor's MES to a whole new level. Each machine, or workstation, has its own dedicated portal for the daily workload. Upon logging in the employee can see and action all the maintenance tasks, assigned to the workspace, including updating the maintenance meter, if required.

The tasks can be configured to be daily, weekly, monthly, or annually depending on the resource requirements. These tasks can be configured against the entire resource group, or the individual resource depending on requirements. Once the employee has completed the tasks, the app will take them to the home screen.

From the home screen, the employee will be able to see current jobs, upcoming jobs, or all jobs by swiping between the different lists. Selecting a job, will show the employee, the job, and the operation details including the part details, due date, estimated time, and details of any previously completed quantity.

Setup or production activity can be started at the press of a button. A configurable countdown timer reduces human error. These activities can be paused and resumed as and when required, to help eradicate labour errors and help promote recording accuracy.

The employee can report a production quantity or end the labour booking, just like in the MES application, by selecting the appropriate button. After reporting a quantity, the home page will refresh with the updated completed quantity.

Ending the labour booking will take the employee back to the home page, to select another job, or an indirect activity.

The app can also be configured to start an indirect activity as soon as the employee logs in or ends any production activity.

Indirect activity can be started at any time, by selecting the indirect button and choosing the appropriate activity. Starting an indirect activity while in production, will pause the current labour booking, Indirect activities can also be paused and resumed where necessary.

An Epicor dashboard shows all the TPM records for all resources, which is filterable by resource group, resource and employee.
