Android version of the desktop file manager Total Commander (www.ghisler.com).

About the new permission "SuperUser":
This permission is now requested to make Total Commander work better on rooted devices. It tells the SuperUser app that Total Commander supports root functions. It has no effect if your device is not rooted. Root functions allow Total Commander to write to system folders like /system or /data. You will be warned before anything is written if the partition is write protected.

If you want an original experience when it comes to browsing and files and storing files on your device I would recommend this file manager all the others are like new school and New age this one is the only one that is a sense that is fundamentally like the old school style of file managers how you can browse from one file to another and essentially just move down through the files of the arrows instead of having an entire group of files to select from is very nostalgic and familiar

Your APP design is almost best but needed some features, theres no TC built-in PHOTO VIEWER (need to open other photo app), and the file & folder view display is not in TILES with details! The date modified cannot be edited to older date to be set (it wont work)! The FILE copying changes date modified, should not be change, should be the same date modified! Pls fix your design! And you dont had a SYSTEM APPS view but only INSTALLED APPS are there but no SYSTEM APP! pls include SYSTEM APPS too!!!

This is probably my number one favorite application. It shows me all my files, folders, and internet structures in clearly defined directories all neatly connected in a way that I can easily understand. I refer to it quite a few times a day.

What's new

- Editor: Let the user open text files of any size after showing a warning "Out of memory" with option "Retry"
- Media Player: New context menu items to share tracks (Send to)
- Show album covers for music files as thumbnails in main program (optional)
- File list: Show size with more digits where possible
- Context menu: The “Send to”/“Open with” dialogs now allow you to set bookmarks for frequently used apps (shown at the very top).
