For the past year or so, my cart is randomly empty when I open the app. I use it as an ongoing shopping list, so when this happens, I lose my list. I recently realized that it coincides with app updates. Years ago, despite regular updates, my cart would always be retained. There was a major "upgrade" a year or so ago. Makes me want to rely on Target, Walmart, and Costco instead of the GE near my house....

App is glitchy, also, just use the instacart app, the delivery fees are usually cheaper. when shopping, in a specific item you go back and it takes you back to home page of giant eagle app. 9.95 just delivery no matter what, then another fee, then tip. instacart has them but less expensive. save money with a better programed app.

Two updates since the 6-15 update killed the shopping list. Still can't add items, how long is it going to take to fix one of the most useful features. Workaround for the shopping list. Select the heart icon, it doesn't add it to the favorites, it adds it to the shopping list. July 23 update. Now the scanner won't work. Error message says barcode scanner won't work without camera. My camera works everywhere else. The shopping list icon is also gone but the workaround still seems okay.
