About this app

This is your convenient tool to help simplify, add control and reach your vehicle’s full potential. Stay in touch and in command — whether you’re in your vehicle or out. Access helpful features like remote commands right on your home screen and even check the estimated fuel level or charge status of your electric vehicle.

Start by logging in with your GMC Account or OnStar username and password. Services are not available everywhere, and feature availability and functionality may vary by country. The myGMC mobile app* is supported on Android 9 and above and is only available in North America.

Remote Commands**
Your key fob is conveniently located on your home screen. You can lock and unlock your doors or warm up your car on a cold morning.

Vehicle Status*** / Schedule Service
Check your vehicle’s status to monitor fuel level, oil life, tire pressure and more, making it easy for you to stay on top of your vehicle’s health and schedule service with your participating Dealer without leaving the app.

Have a flat? Need fuel? Request Roadside Assistance in the app, or call an OnStar Advisor. Help is on the way.

Plan your trip by sending a destination to your vehicle’s built-in navigation system from the vehicle mobile app.

Gain insights about your driving skills, and receive a driving score for a trip, day, week or month. You will also receive driving tips to help you become a better and safer driver.

Some of it works. But never saw where you could adjust radio. The best feature was sending navigation to my truck. That apparently is gone. I tried to get directions while in the truck and 1 time it worked the other time it was frustrating as hell because the could not come even close they gave directions may hundreds of miles away. I think some things in the app are helpful but navigation was what I used the most and now it is removed. More so because the internal GPS system is horrible.

This last couple of months, I have had so many problems with this app, I have logged off, uninstalled, changed passwords, and it says it can't locate my data. This was one of the perks to this was the remote start and onstar via remote, but if I can't get to it, what good does it do. I see there has been multiple reviews.... is this gonna be fixed? It used to be an amazing app........

So disappointed in GMC,since update, can't use the app for starting, unlock, lock etc. Pay for onstar & it's not an option there. I have the key fobs but have to be so close in order for them to work, sometimes they don't, even with getting new fobs & batteries. It was nice to be able to lock, start etc with the app if I wasn't close to the car. Only had this vehicle a year & love it except now I can't use the app for extra helps unless I purchase a newer year vehicle. Was a great GMC feature.
