Pixel Camera Services is a system component that brings Pixel Camera features like Night Sight to some 3rd party apps that you’ve granted permission to use your camera. This component is pre-installed on your device and should be kept up to date to ensure you have the latest image processing updates and other bug fixes.

Requirements - Pixel 6 or newer running Android 12 with the March security patch or newer. Some features are not available on all devices.

Declining quality. The contrast is either too hard or the image is too flat (2 years ago it was better). Sometimes, I open the camera after viewing recently taken pictures, and then I can change exposure to colour temperature. On ultra wide, the contrast and saturation are horrible, and the images come out washed out.

There is some problem with the cameras(alignment) when taking photos, it is not perfectly centered and the photo gets rotated to left. Facing this issue from the day one of buying this phone. Please fix this ASAP.

Core camera functions rely heavily on this service, yet it frequently causes slowdowns, crashes, and inconsistent performance. Features like HDR, Night Sight, and video recording suffer, and users have no control or visibility over what’s happening in the background. Compared to Samsung and OnePlus camera services, this feels half-baked and careless.
