Core camera functions rely heavily on this service, yet it frequently causes slowdowns, crashes, and inconsistent performance. Features like HDR, Night Sight, and video recording suffer, and users have no control or visibility over what’s happening in the background. Compared to Samsung and OnePlus camera services, this feels half-baked and careless.

New update has caused my phone to not function correctly at all. When taking pics causes alerts to disappear and cannot share pics anywhere. Really frustrating

zoom is not at all working, throws blurry images, not happy with the recent updates, not sure if they wantedly degraded camera experience
