This app works great for the most part, recent updates have fixed some crashing issues from previous updates which has been great. However, a very recent update turned on "smart quotes" with absolutely no way to turn them off in the app. Honestly, the fact that we can't change our preferences in the app at all is a huge annoyance. I had to get on my computer to go to the desktop to turn them off which is unnecessary and stupid, just give us preferences in the app.

It works fairly well, but the biggest complaint that I have is that st some point I'll starting getting a pop-up that reads "Can't detects more grammar errors. Text is too long." right at the bottom of the screen, and will persist while typing, blocking the view of what I'm trying to type! It happens far too often, and with no warning. Just at some point, starts doing that. Oftentimes right after sharing a document with someone via sharing link.

Every day I open this app and get a new error. Edit: it's 2023. I still open up this miserable app to attempt to do some writing on the go only to continously lose the ability to edit my own documents, or find they no longer sync, or sometimes just don't feel like opening. I would love to suggest changes, Google Docs, I really would.
