THIS should be a native preinstalled app on all android devices. Google Play's app manager don't find even close to what this app does. Granted, you are still stuck with some bloatware apps. This can uninstall a lot the junk the phones app manager will not even give you the option to do so. I got rid of 85% of the bloat I wanted gone. Good app, wish I had it sooner. I like to get at least close to 2 years out of a phone if possible. And, storage management is a big part of that maintenance.

A rudimentary app for those who need a playful way to view content stored on their device. I- grew up with a PC before the turn of the century, so I prefer the traditional folders & endless dropdown sub-foldures & tabs to view content on my device. Give me a manilla folder & an expand icon over colorful images of a cloud slamdunking a duplicate photo to free up 200kb of space. • I do like the option to have it select all duplicates saving you from having to go through every duplicate.

Please revert the clean option back to the way it was. I cannot see exactly what files are junk anymore. You touch "see files" and it doesn't do anything now. I want to see the files before it deletes them. For example,Jeopardy+Doordash always leave junk.There isn't an option to attach a screenshot for this review. You open Files by Google app, go to menu, tap clean and then an option to "see files" is in the popup box in blue and when you touch that it shows you the files it is going to clean.

What's new

When you scan a document, it’s saved in your device’s Scanned folder.
“Documents & other” category is now called “Documents” to make it easier to find PDF files. Other files, like backup and database files, can be found in “Downloads” or “Internal storage”.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll roll out search improvements like recently opened files, quick results, and dropdown filters to make finding files even easier.
