Hold for Me lets you go back to your day. If a business puts you on hold, Google Assistant can wait on the line for you and let you know when someone is ready to talk.

Call Screen answers unknown callers, filters out detected spammers without interrupting you, and helps you learn more about callers you don’t recognize before you pick up.

Check your messages without needing to call your voicemail – view and play them in any order, read transcriptions, and delete or save them right from the app.

Ratings and reviews

I've been told since I've started using this app, people on the other line can barely here me and it takes longer for the call to connect once either I or the other party answers the call. I'm really disappointed in the quality it has with my Galaxy 23. I'll be going back to the default phone app that came with my phone. Update: I have looked all through my settings for cache files to clean out. I have not found where they are to see if that fixes the problem. My volume is completely up.

There's something wrong with this app. During the call, when on speaker, I can't run any apps from home screen, nor can I access the app drawer. When I take it off the speaker then I everything works properly, but then of course screen goes black when I'm near proximity sensor, and of course I can't hear whoever I'm talking to that great. I have Google Pixel 8 Pro. The phone has software issues, the full warranty is good til November but Google tells me I have no other option but to wait for an update. I cannot make nor receive calls or texts without constant restarts. The restart only provides service for a short time. I have never been so disappointed with a phone and the lack of support.
