I have been using Google and Android for decades, I love both of them. I finally got a small desktop smart tv, but I am not able to install Udemy on it. I am also not able to run Udemy on the browser that comes with the IStar Google TV. Is there anything that you could suggest for me? Thank you!

Forgive the dissertation, but every bit of this needs to be said. This app works exactly as intended. The overwhelming majority of the negative reviews are the result of user misunderstanding, not actual flaws in the app itself. Honestly, reading some of these complaints is a little discouraging, especially since many of them are based on incorrect assumptions rather than real issues. ★For those expecting it to function the same way as the Google app on an Android phone... it won’t. It is not the phone version, and it was never meant to be. Different platform, different behavior. ★For those reporting that the microphone does not work... that is a hardware issue, not an app issue. The app does not magically install or control a microphone. It simply accesses the microphone built into your remote or device. If your mic is not functioning, that problem exists outside of this app. Simply put, the problem is YOUR hardware. ★For those experiencing apps closing on their own, the TV turning off, or the screen dimming... those behaviors are controlled by your TV’s system settings such as power saving, screensaver, or sleep timers. This app has no authority over any of that. ★For those saying they cannot open or even find the app... this app is accessed and used via voice commands using your microphone button. It is not Google Chrome, and it is not designed to open like a traditional browser. (the app doesn't install a web browser. so you can NOT surf the web) Again, this goes back to understanding how it is intended to be used. ★Bottom line... take a moment to understand what you are downloading and how it works before leaving negative reviews. If something seems confusing or working incorrectly, research it first. Spreading misinformation based on misunderstanding helps no one and likely discourages people who could genuinely benefit from this app. Many potential users were likely scared away by reviews rooted in confusion rather than fact, left by intellectually bereft people, and that is unfortunate. 🤦🏻♂️

Quite possibly one of the worst experiences ever. Google shoves their idiotic assistant, without an ability to disable it. For some reason the search stopped working at all, then, when it finally worked it stopped showing any results besides YouTube, how is it possible for billions of $ worth company to make such buggy, disfunctionnal, worthless mess, absolute disgrace, I'll find another search.
