This has helped me so many times trying to figure out what things were, but the real winner here is the translate option! I've never used it before until now! I recently bought something where the instructions were in another language. Pulled up Google Lens and was able to translate it. I actually started my screen recorder, and I clicked the "listen" open to have it read. Now when I go to put this together, I'll just play the screen recording and pause it whenever I need to!

Useful for lots of types of identifying items. I am pricing items for a moving sale This is even useful for identifying bugs like spiders or moths, all kinds of plants. It is not always accurate, but it gives you a lot of information. update: I'm going through the forest near me and identifying a lot of the plant life. it's amazing. it may not always be perfectly correct. but you have to check it yourself so you're always learning, and it doesn't cost anything!

A real time- saver! So far, Google Lens seems to bring up good visual matches for images. It helps if you have very clear, descriptive photos. Also, you need to carefully vet the results, as some of them aren't accurate... ALSO - the app is great for translating packaged product info printed in different languages!! LATER - this app works great traveling in Japan - you can read menus, instructions on various devices, etc. Very helpful!!!
