Another perfect example of fixing something that isn't broken. The functionality has become very sketchy while also looking worse. More often than not it hangs making the connection and has to be force stopped, cache cleaned and restarted to work near how it should. The UI is awkward and clunky. I haven't seen one feature that's better and a lot that are simply worse.

After using Chrome Remote Desktop for years, I can say it's a pretty decent way to quickly remote access a computer. However with the recent changes of the app to move away from a dedicated app and into what looks like a sandboxed Chrome extension running on Android, the app feels much more clunky than it used to be. There are quite a few issues that make it less user friendly, including the new keyboard being sized for an ant. The old UI experience was much better.

Recent app changes have entirely broken the functionality. Upon opening the app it gets stuck in a crazy loop of trying to access the web app. Seems like a bad move to change from a dedicated app to web based. It is entirely unusable for me and I will be uninstalling and searching for other options. It is a shame cause I have used this for well over 6 years.
