I took a hard turn and my phone fell from the console. within seconds my phone was ringing from the open road app and there was a live operator asking for my safety and she called my name right. it works.

Really want to like this app but the battery drain is still pretty heavy even on my new S26. App battery usage needs to be improved significantly. Life360 does way more and doesn't use a fraction of the battery so I know it can be done. Need more control over place alerts as well.

It's a good idea but pretty vague on how to use it. The first trip I took I received a response telling me that my first trip was monitored but that's it. I've since gone out on a few other trips but when I check the weekly stats it says 0 trips logged?! The app icon just sits on the top of my phone and when I pull down the drop down menu on my phone the app shows up as "openroad is standing by tap to launch" but when I do this it just brings me to the full app and shows active but that's it!
