About this app

The Lively app on your Android smartphone gives you access to the Lively® Urgent Response Team. In an emergency, tap the Urgent Response button you’ll be connected to a certified Urgent Response Agent who will get you the help you need no matter the situation. We’re highly trained in assisting you through situations where you may feel unsafe, aren’t sure who to call for help, or if you are experiencing a medical emergency. We will work with you, contact your family or friends if desired and stay on the line with you until help arrives.

You can even speak to a nurse or board-certified doctor with our Nurse On-Call service anytime, day or night (Premium Health and Safety subscription required; no additional costs or copays or insurance needed).

The Lively app requires an active Lively Health & Safety Service subscription. Already a member? Simply download the app and sign in using your cell phone number. New to Lively? Give us a call and we can tell you about our services, help you activate a new account or just assist with general set up.

Lively Urgent Response:
Just tap Urgent Response to be connected to a certified Agent who will get you the help you need.

Urgent Response can help if you:
• Are locked out of your home
• Require roadside assistance
• Need directions in an unfamiliar area
• Are experiencing chest pain

Lively Nurse On-Call:
With Lively Nurse On-Call, you can consult with a registered nurse or board-certified doctor anytime.
• Get prescriptions or refills over the phone for common medications
• No insurance plan is necessary and there are no copays*


Lively Link® app:
Lively Link is a complementary smartphone app loved ones can download to stay updated on your health and safety. After they download the app — and with your permission — they can be alerted:
• If you call Urgent Response
• If your device is running low on battery
• About your daily activities and your location

*Service provided in partnership with Current Health and MDLIVE. Registered nurses evaluate medical urgency, provide symptom management or health information, transfer to a physician if appropriate and schedule appointments. Physician transfer subject to screening by Current Health (and subject to Doctor availability). Emergencies will be transferred to a 911 call center, or members may be directed to call 911.

***For customers subscribed to Preferred and Premium Lively Services plans, the app uses the PROCESS_OUTGOING_CALLS permission to notify our agents and the users caregiver when a user calls 911 or Urgent Response, ensuring the user's care network is informed during a possible life safety event.

Things have been fine up until recently. For some reason my device disconnected from the app. Restarted the phone and app, updated the app, removed wearable device, attempted to reconnect the device several times with no luck. Attempted to call customer support several times, but after I make my selections nothing happens. No wait music, no ringing, nothing. If customer support is only available at certain times, I have not come across any sort hours or time table.

This app is only for cell phones that are provided by great call. If you to try to use it with any other Android phone it will send you notifications that your account needs urgent attention even though there is nothing wrong with your account. This app in the Play store should be labeled clearly that it is only for the lively great call cell phones. It took me hours and hours working with customer service to finally figure this out. Nuts! Tech support at Lively should read these reviews. Each time you call support you get a different person and they CANNOT CONNECT YOU with the previous person so you have to start all over again. Finally got a really good agent who discovered the above information. Laborious, time consuming, frustrating process.

Installed this app on my computer and it works. Installed it on my Android phone and it doesn't work. It asks for my phone number and when I put it in it says No account found for this number. Called last night and was on the phone for over an hour. Was passed on to three different persons and none could help me and finally got disconnected. Edit: Received a reply Best buy Health asking me to contact them. Did that 5 days ago and haven't heard from them yet.
