Great app, bought the sensor to go with it, worth it. I recommend that you find out how Gregg Braden (author) recommends to use it. I read here that people's session end as soon as they start. IMPORTANT: you must NOT pair your phone blue tooth to the device. The app does it for you. Once I figured that out it worked for me. Their instructions should say that, but it doesn't... Heartmath, if you fix that instruction breakdown (should come with the sensor instructions) then some of the lower stars here would be higher :) App crashes when in progress screen when I move up or down....
It didn't work for me right away. But within days I had a detailed description on how to set it up, it was easy. And then they followed up with a phone call to make sure I was satisfied :) Great company
Changing my rating from 2 to 4 stars. HeartMath replaced my sensor when it stopped working after only a week. I thought about requesting a refund but I'm glad I didn't. The sensor has been working just fine for the past 2 months but the software is still a little buggy. Bluetooth sharing force closes when I try to pair connect the sensor through the app, then it says a sensor can't be found. I press connect again and then it connects just fine so it usually takes about a minute to connect to the app. The sensor doesn't look durable so I carry it in a small metal case to keep it intact. Overall I believe it's a good product but it just needs some improvements.
Not clear how to use. I purchased the emwave pro and was unable to figure out how to run the necessary program on linux mint. I was hoping this would be an alternative, but I can't find clear information on whether my sensor can work with the app. It doesn't seem to fit as is.
I jus got the attachment and used it..suddenly by accident discovered the ear attachment came off during a session..and I was shocked to see the app still recording! How is this possible since its only suppose to measure and read the rate from the ear attachment piece? To double check I then removed the earpiece and kept on table and it still continued to give readings!..beeps red blue green etc "randomly". Wld appreciate a reply from the developers of hearth math pls? Is it just my earpiece that's gone haywire?
Great app let down by poor sensor connectivity. Unreliable bluetooth it either hangs when calibrating, can't find the sensor or I get the system message bluetooth stopped working. Note 3 tested on friends S6 also same issue, an uninstall and reinstall fixes the issue momentarily. I'd happily pay the cost of the sensor for the app alone if it would work with a reliable time tested polar hr like other hrv apps, I find it a little uncomfortable on the ear also.
