Ratings and reviews

Good in theory but my biggest complaint is everything is automated if you have an issue. I would increase my rating if there was phone number to call to reach an actual person. I was also recently recharged for two rentals from the beginning of the year that had already been paid and closed. Not sure if that was due to their app transition. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have billing in 1/4 or at least 1/2 hour increments vs only hour increments.

I booked a van at Ikea Milton Keynes for an hour. The booking was changed to Costco without being informed. That took 45 minutes to sort out. It then took another additional 20 mins to return the vehicle as it was flagged at being in the wrong place despite being returned to the exact same bay I had collected it from. So the van was returned late and I've been charged an additional £37.50 for what was entirely the fault of Hertz 247. The customer service team were fully aware. Absolute joke.

Terrible experience, almost ruined our trip (another rental car company saved us). The app loads with errors, stays in offline mode, and we were never able to get registered and our reservation was cancelled the night before we were to pick up a car.
