Good in theory but my biggest complaint is everything is automated if you have an issue. I would increase my rating if there was phone number to call to reach an actual person. I was also recently recharged for two rentals from the beginning of the year that had already been paid and closed. Not sure if that was due to their app transition. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have billing in 1/4 or at least 1/2 hour increments vs only hour increments.

Thank you for the feedback, we'll take that into consideration. Phone and email contacts are in the app under the Support section and we operate 7 days/week between business hours of 7.00-22.00. Please email us your billing query and we'll rectify if there has been a double payment capture.

Hertz 24/7 was a nightmare. I was blindsided by mileage and membership charges that were never clearly explained at booking—only revealed on the invoice. It felt like hidden fees designed to trap customers. I returned the car on time, but their app glitched, failed the check-in, and I was threatened with a late fee anyway. The app even froze my phone during the process. Stressful, opaque, and unreliable. I won’t use them again. You should not use them either, use someone else.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Arrived at my hire van to find the floor covered in dirt, no fuel card in the van as promised and 2 warning lights on the dashboard. I then discovered there was no hertz phone number so I had to sit and wait on the online chat within the app. I was then told there may be a different van available but that I would not be reimbursed for the time lost (30 minutes at this point). Turns out there were no other vans of the same size available so my booking was cancelled. Abysmal.
