TRIPS is launched in collaboration with AtB and Ruter as part of their work to expand and improve mobility offerings. The solution is built for integration with public mobility systems and complies with public standards for safety, user experience, and data sharing.

How does it work?

For passengers:
1. Find a ride and a driver going in the same direction
2. Reserve a seat for all or part of the journey
3. Show up at the agreed time and location. You can track the driver's location in our map feature
4. Enjoy the ride – either in silence or by getting to know your fellow rider
5. After the ride, you can leave a rating that is visible to all users

For drivers:
1. Offer a ride based on your planned travel
2. Receive and accept passenger requests
3. Pick up passengers at the agreed time and location. You can easily contact your passengers
4. Enjoy the trip and rate your passengers afterward
5. Receive compensation based on distance and number of passengers

Drive together, save together
Carpooling is a flexible and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional public transport – you save time by getting transport when and where you need it. In TRIPS, passengers share the travel cost with the driver, who receives compensation based on distance driven and number of passengers.

Simple travel planning
The platform’s interface makes it easy for users to find relevant rides, or for drivers to offer rides based on their planned routes. Everything is managed through the platform – from booking to communication – and login via Vipps ensures verified user identity.
