ability to control by zone is great. I do doubt the real temperature of the room versus the temperature recorded. Also there are some annoying optimisation and automation rules that whikst funky and valuable are damn complex to control and manage. For example if the zoned area thinks a wondow is open it drops the thermostat control to 5 degC. This is annoying when you know that there was no window open and you want to override it. otherwise a great system and oays back within 2 years.
Honeywell Total Connect App is easy to use and the information it provides is very clear. So to turn the heating off or down by 3° is simple and it works and you will save energy for certain. When you turn on Smart settings it gets more complicated and it is almost too clever for its own good. However once you understand that it is adjusting your water flow such that at the time selected it is exactly at the temperature you selected, then all is clear and it really does work.
A good app, and easier than using the wireless display, as others have noted. I too would love a graphing function. Many of the features are more part of the overall system, than the app, such as the fantastic flexibility. The app does often have to be restarted on first use. I could do with saved schedules for winter vs summer. But otherwise hsppy
