Ratings and reviews

The vacuum sometimes adds random pages to your map. There is no way to remove them if you don't notice the bad data before the last good map drops off the history. When you restore a map from the history, it drops all scheduled jobs. You have to recreate your scheduled jobs or the vacuum won't run. The vacuum works but the software is one of the most frustrating apps I use. If there was another way, I would do that instead.

Just used Eureka app and man... You don't know how bad this app until you see what you've been missing. I just tried a mapping run, got it, and the app says "the mapping run is done" and you can even click the run where all new unnamed rooms are... That's all you can do, because it didn't save to my maps. No wonder irobot is losing market share. Pathetic. In response to the company response, no need to contact you. I can clear my cache, reinstall the app, or factory reset the vacuum myself.

I love most features about this app and how user-friendly it is. My only issue is with mapping and the lack of any scale or distance measure that would help you refine room transitions or being able to see where it cleaned last superimposed while redrawing transitions. As a result despite multiple attempts, room transitions are still bit rough and sometimes I have the robot wandering the house looking for a different way into a "room" that it thinks is 2ft bigger than it actually is.
