Health care has changed drastically since the doctor came to your home and got paid with a chicken or a bucket of snap beans. It's ridiculously expensive and many doctors are given only a short amount of time for a patient visit. Many employ physicians assistants to help with the work load. Follow my Health is a program that helps bridge the gap between olden times and the present. It makes it possible to communicate your needs to your physician and get a timely response. I strongly recommend a person to join the FMH family and see for yourself the benefits it provides. I was one of the first to join and have found FMH very helpful when requesting appointments, refills and many other areas I previously had no access to.
Now that my doctor's office is fully on board with this, I love it. Accessing my account through the app is so much easier than logging in on my computer. I can get an appointment, request refills, see my records G including lab results - and send notes or ask questions. This app is a must-have for anyone who sees their doctor more than once a year.
If you have a Wi-Fi connection it's great. Of course, at the doctor's office or Pharmacy, when you need to reference a specific item, that's when the data dollars come-in lol..However, since I am one of those faceless, nameless people, that loses Insurance in 2018, (or sooner) this makes the point moot! Ahh... a death by the stroke of a pen! Lol The pen is mightier than the sword! Lol Oh dear, I could go on, but won't!
Very handy app. it brings together all of my Doctors so that each one of them can see what the others have diagnosed and how they treated it. This releases me from having to remember all of that information, especially since I have a poor memory. It also makes sure that one Dr. will not put me on a drug or treatment that conflicts with a drug or treatment I am already on.
It is extremely handy to be able to review all my medical information and correspond directly with my physician. The only negative is that somehow inaccurate statements show up stating that I have testing to be done that does not apply to me and no one seems to be able to remove these. It is annoying to have to look at those each time I open in search of my real records and notifications.
Awesome app. I love it. You're able to save and compare your results from each visit and having all the results right under your finger. I usually never used to hear sh☆t from my old Dr other than the bad results. I think it's definitely a great way to monitor ones self at any time and push a button to re- order meds. Hell that alone is better than reading off so many numbers to Walmart til my eyes cross. I'm going to use it at all my Dr's I see, that have this available to them. I think if you actually go in and load your info you'll discover it is a great way to monitor your visits, compare your results and see if you are better or worse. Just a helpful reminder. Make appts in a click, or cancel in a click without having to be put on hold and be told there are 15 calls ahead of you. That's how I see it. Try it you'll like it. I guarantee it. I always thought yea who cares, who wants to waste the time to look up all that stuff. I'm not into that blah blah blah. But I'm telling you that you'll be saying I'm glad I downloaded this app. Compare your weight, b/p, etc.
