Would be a great remote, maybe the best for SONY Android TV. BUT. It will frequently display full-screen, unskippable, and often UNCLOSEABLE ads while you're using it. Often you have to just close the entire app to get it to go away. Absolutely absurd had to uninstall after the last time it did this while I was trying to turn down too-loud volume and got locked out of the remote by a video ad that I couldn't skip or close even after it was done.

My remote has gotten wet or broken a couple of times, and this app got my TV working while I fixed/ordered a new one. It's not the absolute best thing in the world, and the idea that they cram ads on it... I mean, it's free, I guess... but hey. You just wanna know if it works. It works.

why not Bluetooth compatible? I'm connected to the TV, the app recognizes and says im connected to the TV, however because the TV is wired to the router and my phone is on wifi it doesnt work... I can only use the app if both devices are on wifi... why would I use wifi to stream when I'm able to directly plug into the router a few feet away..
