Would be a great remote, maybe the best for SONY Android TV. BUT. It will frequently display full-screen, unskippable, and often UNCLOSEABLE ads while you're using it. Often you have to just close the entire app to get it to go away. Absolutely absurd had to uninstall after the last time it did this while I was trying to turn down too-loud volume and got locked out of the remote by a video ad that I couldn't skip or close even after it was done.

Great remote functionality overall just very frustrating that I have to switch internal remote UIs between old style and real remote to turn the TV on and off. It should work the same regardless of the remote UI presented. Power is a pretty basic function to not have work universally. I also have different Sony TVs in different locations; It would be great to have profiles for each so I didn't have to always reenter the IP when changing locations.

EDIT: Bringing it down to one star, because this app simply sucks. It says it's connected, but no button input works. And you'll get a random ad pop up when you're trying to do anything that you'll accidentally tap to open. And they want you to **PAY** for an ad-free experience, when the ap itself doesn't work? This entire app is a joke.
