About this app

Let's be honest: you're not going to write in a journal. But you might talk to one.

LazyBum is a voice journal and AI diary for people who hate journaling. When something's stuck in your head and there's no one you want to bother with it, tap one button and say it. LazyBum turns your voice into a clean written journal entry with mood tracking, emotion analysis, and honest observations. No typing, no blank page, no judgment.

VOICE JOURNAL, ZERO EFFORT
Tap one button and talk. LazyBum transcribes what you said, tidies it up without sanding off your personality, and files it with a mood score, the emotions it heard, the people you mentioned, and a few honest observations. Two minutes of muttering becomes something you'll actually want to reread.

AN AI THAT WAS ACTUALLY LISTENING
While you speak, LazyBum asks follow-up questions about the thing you just said. It's the difference between venting into the void and venting at something that was paying attention.

ASK YOUR JOURNAL ANYTHING
"How was my mood this week?" "What do I keep complaining about?" Ask out loud, get an answer built from your own entries. Your journal finally earns its keep.

SEE YOUR PATTERNS
- Cosmos: mood tracker charts over time, plus what boosts you and what drains you
- People Map: which people show up next to your best and worst days
- Lessons: the advice you keep giving yourself and ignoring
- Life Seasons and Mirror Mode: your chapters, blind spots, and repeated excuses
- Streaks and reminders, for the days you need a nudge

FOR THE RECORD
- Speak any of 43 languages
- Entries stay on your device. Private by default.
- Offline mode: record anywhere, it processes later
- Export as PDF or JSON, anytime
- Typing still works, if you're into that

Use it as a voice diary, an audio journal, a mood tracker, a private place to vent, a gratitude journal without the homework, or a daily diary you never have to write. LazyBum is journaling for people who hate journaling: no streak guilt, no sunrise stock photos, just you talking and an app keeping the record straight.

The app is suposed to have the ability to allow you to download your entries as PDF's. This was important to me. Unfortunately, that didn't work as it was supposed to so I contacted customer support and told them my concerns. They promised that it would be working within 3 -4 days. I waited and still it was not working. I contacted customer support again via email and did not receive any reply. It's been a couple weeks now and still no reply. I just sent an email requesting a refund.

The export bug is fixed, and the silence after your email was our failure, not a policy. 0.0.47 exports everything as PDF or JSON, and support now lives inside the app under Report a problem, so nothing gets lost. It also adds widgets, a weekly recap and search by meaning. If the refund is still what you want, Play order history handles it. Damià

Absolutely awful I thought this app was such a good idea because it addresses the exact problem I have with journaling so I did the AI intake and I spent over an hour giving background info and answer all the follow-up questions and then it crashed twice and erased every single thing I said. I still think it's a good idea in theory but the execution is God awful and I'm really mad at the time I wasted

Losing an hour to a crash is exactly the bug we fixed first. In 0.0.47 everything you say is saved as you say it, so a crash mid sentence gives you a draft on the next launch, not a blank screen. The update also adds widgets, a weekly recap and search by meaning. The idea you liked is still here, and the execution caught up. Damià

The app continues to not work, I have received no response in multiple attempted communication to resolve the issues.

Your emails never reached us, and a spam filter is my best guess as to why. So that this cannot happen again, 0.0.47 has a Report a problem button right in the menu. The issues you hit are fixed in that same update, and it adds a lot: a home screen widget, and a weekly recap that shows how you are actually changing. Worth another look. Damià
