About this app

A simple step counter with an efficient and reliable algorithm.
It's minimalist design and focus on it's core functionality follow the design principle of "Do one thing, and do it well".
To satisfy some of the more demanding users I added a few OPTIONAL features.
For example distance and calories can be turned on and off depending on your needs.
By displaying only the essential information in an elegant design, your notification bar stays clutter-free.
Special focus was given to keeping this pedometer lightweight and thus consume as little battery as possible. 🔋

● It might be the most power efficient pedometer on the store. Of course, it uses your phones build-in sensor and unlike many other step counters it just doesn't do anything else in the background.
● Track your activity of the last week, month or all time and get a graphical overview.
● Set a daily step goal.
● The app can approximate your walked distance and burned calories.
● If you want, it can count cookies too. 🍪
● Highly configurable notification and widgets.

Ratings and reviews

App does what it claims, and with no BS. I tried numerous other step-counters, and all were unacceptable, due to spam and fearmongering, i.e. "Your computer is infected..." type scams. Couldn't be happier with this splendid app. Update: I got annoyed when it stopped counting one day, and went with another app that was a resource hog. Then, I discovered my phone had issues. I got this excellent step counter back, and will stick with it.

Nice and minimalistic. Needs a way to restore the notification. I was experimenting and disabled the apps permissions to send the push notification through the phones settings. This removed the step counter on the status bar and lock screen. When I re-enabled permissions they didn't come back and I can't find any way to get them back except by reinstalling. Ideally would also have some customisation options for the notifications, the plain black bar is pretty ugly.

no idea why there's such a good rating since for me it's not working at all. it's offline which is amazing. but the counter is so wrong when walking plus sets out from time to time for no reason. probably it's my phone also other step counters do work properly.
