About this app

Developed for Suzuki vehicles SZ Viewer A1 uses specific protocols (via K-Line and CAN bus) along with standard OBDII ones. This application can read and reset DTC codes (including extended and historical codes) of many Suzuki control modules.

Japanese domestic market (JDM) Suzuki cars are also supported even if they do not support OBDII protocols.

An ELM327 adapter (Bluetooth or Wi-Fi) version 1.3 or later is required. Fake (so called v2.1 and some v1.5) ELM327 adapters are not suitable for use as they do not support the required ELM327 commands.

Older (pre-2000 model year) SDL protocol (5V levels, pin #9 of OBDII connector) is not supported because of physical incompatibility with ELM327.

This application allows you to view and reset DTC errors for various control modules: powertrain, engine, AT/CVT, ABS/ESP, SRS, AC/HVAC, BCM, PS, EMCD/4WD/AHL, TPMS, etc. However, not all modules may be present on a tested vehicle.

An HVAC module may display B1504 or B150A DTC due to insufficient illumination of a sunload sensor during a diagnostic procedure. This is not a symptom of a sunload sensor malfunction.

So glad I found this app! My first gen S-Cross threw up a load of ABS related faults and I was pretty sure it was a wheel sensor. None of the big names, eg. Torque etc. were able to see a problem and one of them showed a code that suggested an ABS pump failure! However SZ viewer immediately flagged the left rear sensor as faulty along with real time voltages. No gauges or pretty interface - it just gives you the information you need module by module. Thanks so much!

Worked great after my battery was so low that various fault codes were reported and various dash warnings came on, which didn't clear themselves after the battery was properly charged. I used this app to verify that each reported component was functioning correctly, before clearing the fault codes so that I'd know when any new issues arise.

Tried lots of OBD reader for my Baleno Next-G (Aerio Sedan or Liana Sedan), and this is the only app that works). Using a mini ELM v2.1 connected using bluetooth. Even though connecting is sometimes need a few reignition, after connected the data is shown in real time. It would be nice if in the future you can save log files and shown it graphically. Thank you developers.
