Ratings and reviews

Better than Chrome at least on my phone. Syncs well with my PC. Android Edge is already chromium based so web sites load correctly. One suggestion - allow us to add or you add more search engines. I read an interesting article that compared browsers based on power usage. Ranked from least to most usage. Edge was #2 using least amount of power (Brave was #1). That is impressive for Edge. Now you can add extensions (e.g. privacy). That is also impressive!

Great browser and works seamlessly across devices. If you want a solid Chrome replacement this one is a good choice. It's Drop feature is especially useful and I feel like it's not talked about enough. Being able to send myself messages with links, images, etc.. and have access on desktop is awesome. The sync features for tabs and bookmarks is also really solid. The only reason I won't give it 5 stars is because Edge, along with almost all Chromium browsers, no longer support Ublock Origin.

I've been using Edge regularly for a couple months now. I like the interface more than other browsers, but the app performance is terrible. After only minutes of use, Edge will stop loading websites I've entered, and it crashes multiple times a day. This doesn't happen with Chrome on my phone, and very rarely with Firefox. Very poor optimization on Microsoft's part, like they gave up on it immediately after pushing it out. The "AI powered" part of the browser can be entirely ignored, thankfully.
