- Background location: This permission is optional and used to monitor your trips to provide proactive disruption information and suggest alternative routes for faster travel. You can enable or disable this feature in the Rewards and Smart Alert feature in app.

Ratings and reviews

I was very happy to find a London transport app with widgets allowing you to display upcoming departures for specific routes on buses/trains. I've not found another app that allows this. Unfortunately it does not seem to work for trains, if you try to view the train routes in the widget it freezes the widget and it stops working. Please fix this feature.

It is useful as a tool for getting upto date bus times (whether that is nearby or at a particular bus stop further afield), but one thing I have noticed is that it uses up a lot of data, and I do mean a lot of data that you start to think what is it doing. So, my mobile data usage sky rocketed whilst using it even though in one single day. On this given day, it said the app used just over 1.4GB of mobile data and that was intermittent use. Just something that people need to be careful of.

I’m experiencing significant issues with the app following the latest update. Previously, the app functioned without problems, but now I am unable to locate bus routes and cannot add favorite bus stops. Since the update, the app has become unreliable and is no longer meeting my expectations.

What’s new

Truer arrival times: countdowns follow the live bus, and gone buses now say "Departed". Plus less background noise and fresher plumbing.
